ArmaLite began in 1954 and its vision then was the same as it is now, “to design, build and produce innovative, high quality firearms and accessories which our customers can stake his or her life on, and to back this product line by providing customer service unmatched in the firearm industry.”

Initially established as a division of the Fairchild Engine and Airplane Corporation, ArmaLite first gained recognition during the late 1950s with a series of ground-breaking rifles that looked unlike any produced before.

Now, after almost sixty years, ArmaLite has one of the widest product lines in the firearms industry, with rifles such as the AR-15, AR-7, AR-18, AR-30 and AR-50.

ArmaLite provides firearms to a variety of customers, ranging from private gun owners to police and federal agencies in support of the Anti-Terror Assistance Program.
